Tim was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. A graduate of R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas, Tim attended The University of Texas at Austin where he received a BBA in Finance and lettered on the Texas football team. He attended law school at SMU and practiced law with a downtown insurance defense firm, as well as one of the largest personal injury firms in the Metroplex, prior to founding The Law Offices of Timothy O’Hare & Associates in 2001.
The firm’s mission is to provide compassionate, aggressive representation for individuals who have been injured through no fault of their own, as well as for families who have lost loved ones as the result of another’s negligence, while maintaining the highest level of integrity. The firm has recovered millions of dollars for our clients since the firm was founded, while providing exceptional customer service.
Tim and his wife, Christen, are members of First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Tim is also a member of the Christian Legal Society and the Alliance Defense Fund, a Christian organization dedicated to preserving Christian rights and ideals in the U.S. In addition, Tim recently served as President of the Farmers Branch Rotary Club and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Tim also serves as the Mayor of Farmers Branch.
Tim has appeared on numerous national news programs including Fox & Friends, NBC’s Today Show, CNN’s Lou Dobbs Tonight, and others, as well as local affiliates for CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX and WB. He is a sought-after guest speaker and has spoken to numerous student, business and political groups throughout Texas. Tim has received numerous accolades during his career, including being named one of the Top Ten Texans of the Year by the Dallas Morning News, and Texan of the Year by Talk Radio 570 KLIF.
