Tim was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas in 1987. Tim then attended The University of Texas at Austin where he received a BBA in Finance and lettered on the Longhorn football team. He attended law school at SMU and practiced law with a downtown civil defense firm and one of the largest personal injury firms in the Metroplex prior to founding The Law Offices of Timothy O’Hare & Associates in 2001.
The firm’s purpose is to provide aggressive, ethical representation for individuals who have been injured through no fault of their own, as well as for families who have lost loved ones as the result of another’s negligence. O’Hare & Associates also provides the best customer service of any personal injury firm in town.
Tim believes attorneys should be dignified and worthy of respect. The firm does not advertise on television, nor does the firm showcase a list of past settlements in an attempt to hook potential clients based on numbers that the potential client may never realize. Prospective clients should take comfort in the fact that millions of dollars have been recovered for our clients since the firm was founded, and the firm has grown substantially in each year of its existence.
Tim is a long-time member of the Farmers Branch Church of Christ. He is also a member of the Christian Legal Society, the Christian Trial Lawyers Association and the Alliance Defense Fund, a Christian organization dedicated to preserving Christian rights and ideals in the U.S. In addition, Tim is an officer of the Farmers Branch Rotary Club and was recently elected to the Farmers Branch City Council. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Volunteers of America, a faith-based non-profit organization that serves people in need throughout the state.
Tim is single and loves to travel, play golf, scuba dive and deep-sea fish. He also plays shortstop on his church softball team and is a season ticketholder of the Dallas Stars and the Texas Longhorn Football team.
